About Us

Kayaja Nairobi is an independent menswear house founded by Kavi Dosaja, driven by a desire to create clothing that feels effortless, refined, and deeply considered.

We reinterpret classic menswear silhouettes through a contemporary lens, creating garments that are understated, refined and easy to live in. Our approach is guided by a respect for proportion, structure and ease, balancing familiar forms with a quietly distinctive sensibility.

Every garment is made in our small atelier in Loresho Ridge, Nairobi. We work with richly textured linens, artisanal narrow width Japanese and Indian textiles, only natural fibres and carefully selected trims. Fine stitching, considered construction and the character of each cloth are fundamental to everything we make.

Rather than designing for a moment, we create enduring garments with a relaxed elegance. Clothes intended to soften, evolve and become more personal through wear.

Born in Nairobi and informed by a wider world of craft and clothing, Kayaja Nairobi exists to demonstrate that world-class menswear can be created and made right here in Kenya.
